KENYATTA UNIVERSITY STRIKE
The emerging protests by the university students in Kenya is a very critical issue that needs more than a debate, blame, condemnation and use of force to quell. If kenya was a feeling nation no more blood could have been shed in the KU strike.Hardly a month when the UoN students took to the streets in opposing the brutal assasination of two human activists and a student in thier own compund-an act of impunity that Ali can not just wash a way.The institutions in Kenya have compromised their roles for other egocentric interests to sellfishly fill the big bellies of the corrupt gvt officials, for example the judiciary has compromised fair trial for extrajudicial killings, the police has compromised law and order for unrest, reckless shooting of innocent citizens and rape to young leadership promising ladies and the legislators have turned the assigned roles of serving the electorates into mannerless stealing of poor citizens property and corruption of the highest standard-where are we headed to?
I know many will be opening their cursed mouths to condemn the students for mischief but little wiil they consider that the students have been oppressed, gagged and mis used by the university administration to an extent that they could nolonger bear.Talking of dialogue is something non existent in the universities of Kenya since any word by the students will always fall on deaf ears of the rulers of the institution. What do they resolve in?-protest.If they can't be heard ,it's rather they be felt, does that sound nice? No it's rather they quench their anger bcoz the accumulation of this is a chronic poison.
I FORESEE A CONTINUETION OF THIS IN OTHER PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES. WATCH OUT!
MORE TO COME!!!!!!!
